The Washington Aqueduct Dalecarlia Water Treatment Plant provides a backdrop to a site visit from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers leadership in Washington, D.C., August 5, 2025. A division of the Baltimore District, the Aqueduct is a federally owned and operated public water supply agency that produces an average of 135 million gallons of water per day at two treatment plants located in the District of Columbia for approximately one million citizens living and working in the District of Columbia and Arlington and Fairfax Counties.
