Army ROTC Cadet Ryan Godwin takes control of a drone during training at Folsom Dam on July 30. Godwin joined cadets William Kiley and Nolan Savard for the specialized training as part of the Army ROTC Engineering Internship program. The Sacramento District drone team provided safety procedures and mission planning instruction to the cadets, who are among dozens selected nationwide for the competitive program administered jointly by U.S. Army Cadet Command and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
