Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta lays a wreath at the World War II Hall of Memories at the Auckland War Memorial Museum in Auckland, New Zealand, on Sept. 21, 2012. Panetta previously met with his defense counterparts in Japan and China and met with Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping before traveling to New Zealand, the last stop on his weeklong trip to the Pacific.
