U.S. Navy sailors with Riverine Group 1 conduct maneuvers aboard a Riverine Command Boat (Experimental) (RCB-X) during an alternative fuels demonstration at Naval Station Norfolk, Va., on Oct. 22, 2010. The RCB-X boat was powered by an alternative fuel blend of 50 percent algae-based and 50 percent fuel oil to support the Secretary of the Navy's efforts to reduce total energy consumption on naval ships.
