U.S. Air Force Staff Sgts. Paul Harris and Devon Bullock, C-130 Hercules crew chiefs assigned to the 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, conduct preventative maintenance inspections on the base's E- and H-model Hercules fleet probing for a potential defective part on March 5, 2009. Aircraft that met the inspection criteria were cleared to resume flying while those that didn't were temporarily grounded until replacement parts were installed.
