A U.S. Navy E-2C Hawkeye aircraft flies by the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) on Dec. 17, 2007, as the ship operates in the Atlantic Ocean. The Hawkeye is the Navy's all-weather, carrier-based tactical battle management airborne early warning, command and control aircraft. The spiral painted on the rotating radome of this Hawkeye is the hallmark of the "Screwtops" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 123.
