Rumsfeld is in Singapore to attend the 4th International Institute for Strategic Studies Asia Security Conference: The Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore. The Asia Security Conference brings ministers of defense and other senior officials of Pacific nations together to discuss such topics as terrorism, piracy and defense capabilities in the region.
