Petty Officer 3rd class William Miller arms an AGM-65 Maverick laser-guided missile mounted on an F/A-18 Hornet before the aircraft is launched from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) on Nov. 28, 2004. The AGM-65 Maverick is an air-to-surface missile designed for close air support, interdiction and defense suppression. Truman's Carrier Strike Group 10 and embarked Carrier Air Wing 3 are deployed in support of the Global War on Terror. Miller is a Navy aviation ordnanceman assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 105.
