A Navy Landing Craft Utility approaches the well deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Tarawa (LHA 1) while participating in Rim of the Pacific Exercise 2004 off the coast of Hawaii on July 6, 2004. Rim of the Pacific is an international exercise that enhances the joint cooperation and proficiency of maritime and air forces of Australia, Canada, Chile, Peru, Japan, Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States.
