    An F-117A Nighthawk is towed in front of a destroyed aircraft shelter at Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base.

    A U.S. Air Force F-117A Nighthawk is towed in front of a destroyed aircraft shelter at Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base, Kuwait, on March 8, 1998. F-117A Nighthawk stealth fighters have been deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Southern Watch which is the U.S. and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq. The Nighthawk is attached to the 8th Fighter Squadron, 49th Fighter Wing, Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. The aircraft shelter was destroyed during the Gulf War.
