Soldiers of the 412th Aviation Support Battalion conduct convoy training in February 2013 at the Oberdachstetten Local Training Area. This training exercise was conducted on the LTA convoy reaction course. The training was intended to train soldiers on convoy and combat patrol tactics, techniques and procedures, specifically, reacting to ambushes and IEDs. Soldiers utilize the Improvised Explosive Device Training Kit, Convoy Reaction course, MOUT site and mobile containers to accomplish the training event.
