Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Luis Benavente, from Rahway, N.J., directs as members of Navy Cargo Handling Battalion 1, based in Williamsburg, Va., transport a Power Module, used for loading and offloading dry cargo from ship to shore, off the deck of USNS Pililaau (T-AKR-304) onto the sea surface during Combined Joint Logistics Over the Shore (CJLOTS) military exercise on the Korean Peninsula April 18-28. The naval exercise aims to improve logistics interoperability, communication and cooperation between the United States and South Korea.
