The Legacy plaque of former U.S. Army Sgt. Brett Reistad of Manassas, Va., is displayed in the U.S. Army 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard)s Presidential Salute Battery motorpool on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Va., July 17, 2025. Mr. Reistad served in the PSB platoon from 1974-1977, of note he was a member of the PSB team that participated in the Presidential Inauguration of Former President Jimmy Carter. During the ceremony today he was officially honored on the PSB Honors board that hangs in the motor pool where the very cannons he used in the 70’s are still used by todays PSB Soldiers.
