Bob Crandall, a native of Brainerd, Minn., and a carpentry-masonry specialist perform vital construction at Joint Security Station - Sadr City May 27 to improve the living conditions and force protection of the Soldiers assigned there in the Thawra 1 neighborhood of the Sadr City district of Baghdad. The Soldiers both serve with the 851st Vertical Engineer Company, which is based out of Minnesota, and are currently assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad.
