Brig. Gen. Christine A. Beeler, Program Executive Officer for the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), delivers opening remarks during the STAR events finalist session as part of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) national leadership conference at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, on July 9. Beeler was invited to speak to the group by the Orlando Army Recruiting Company, supporting U.S. Army Recruiting Command, Cadet Command, and Marketing and Engagement Brigade outreach efforts to educate the more than 10,000 students who attended the five-day conference about career opportunities in the Army.
