Sergeant Nickolas Auvil watches fellow 8th Communications Battalion Marines climb down the communication tower at the battalion’s compound at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, April 18. Four Marines are responsible for keeping Internet and phone communications running for Camp Leatherneck, Camp Dwyer and a myriad of other patrol and forward operating bases in Helmand and Nimroz Provinces.
