U.S. Marines with Littoral Engineer Reconnaissance Team, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, as well as 12th Littoral Logistics Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, lift a combat rubber raiding craft out the water during small boat sustainment training on Naval Base White Beach, Okinawa, Japan, June 23, 2025. Marines from LERT and 12th LLB worked together to conduct CRRC sustainment training, including small boat maneuvers and open water safety swimming. LERT also conducted beach landing site surveys using the CEESCOPE, a device that enables precise depth measurements and underwater topography mapping.
