Brig. Gen. Edward D. Banta, the commanding general of 2nd Marine Logistics Group addresses 2nd Medical Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 25, 2nd MLG during a Bronze Star Medal ceremony held for Navy Lt. Wilfredo L. Lucas, the battalion's operations officer, aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., April, 24, 2013. Lucas provided training and aid to the Afghan National Army's 2nd Brigade, 215th Corps, which resulted in the treatment of approximately 1,800 patients and saved more than 260 lives.
