Members of local fire departments, the Pend Oreille County Sheriff’s Office, Search and Rescue, U.S. Border Patrol and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, and the 36th RQS gather for a photo after the patient was airlifted to a local hospital near Riverview Bible Camp in Cusick, Washington, June 21, 2025. Due to the rapid response of the coordinated rescue team, the patient was airlifted to an area with ambulances and then taken to a nearby hospital.
