U.S. Army Col. Marc Sanborn, the Joint Security Cooperation Group – Panama commander, presents a certification of completion for the International Officer Tactical Intelligence Course to a Panamanian National Police member at National Border Service (SENAFRONT) of Panama Headquarters, Panama, July 1, 2025. Over 3 weeks, U.S. Army Soldiers from the 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade and Space Force Guardians from across the Space Force taught basic ground intelligence analyst training to Panamanian SENAFRONT and National Police of Panama Intelligence Agents, teaching concepts such as the Military Decision Making Process, Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment process, and how to complete a collections matrix & intelligence requirement, furthering U.S. Southern Command’s focus on increasing partner nation capacity and interoperability in the region.
