A series of tanks aboard the MV Cape Ray were part of the two field-deployable hydrolysis systems that destroyed more than 600 tons of Syrian chemical warfare materiel. Edgewood Chemical Biological Center and the Joint Project Manager for Elimination were awarded the 2014 Tim Otter CBRN Innovator of the Year Award by the CBRN-UK group for their work in developing and deploying the FDHS.
