NORTH PACIFIC OCEAN (June 25, 2025) Sonar Technician (Surface) 3rd Class Darrius Coakley, from Little Rock, Arkansas, monitors a display in Sonar Control onboard the Arleigh Burke-Class guided missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65) while operating in the North Pacific Ocean, June 25. Benfold is forward deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s Largest DESRON and U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
