The BMTF is a multinational medical unit based on existing military medical capabilities of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Serbia with continuous support by Norway, the European Union and the U.S. to improve national medical capabilities enabling the BMTF the ability to deploy within the region and potentially outside the region.
