SAN DIEGO (June 25, 2025) Two research teams from Naval Health Research Center’s (NHRC) Warfighter Performance Department win the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development and Acquisition) 2025 Dr. Delores M. Etter Top Scientists and Engineers of the Year award. In the category of Teams Collaborating Across the Department of Navy, NHRC’s Command Readiness Endurance and Watchstanding team and Expeditionary Cognitive Science Group were presented with awards by Rear Adm. Guido Valdes, commander, Naval Medical Forces Pacific. NHRC, part of Navy Medicine Research & Development, supports Navy, Marine Corps, and joint U.S. warfighter health readiness and lethality with research and development that delivers high-value, high-impact solutions to the health and readiness challenges U.S. military population faces on the battlefield, at-sea, home and abroad.
