Libby Dam Natural Resource Manager Tana Wilson's paternal grandfather, Grandpa Whitey, saved a core sample, etched with the words "Libby Dam" and used it as a door stopper for his home's backdoor that lead to the yard. Both Wilson's grandfathers worked on the construction of the dam in the 1960s, and saved mementos of their times on the project, commemorating the families' contributions to the dam, and the Libby community at large.
