Lt. Kyle Hanford, of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 115, explains the purpose of the dome on top of an E-2C Hawkeye aircraft to a group of Camp Zama High School students on Naval Air Facility Atsugi's flight line. The students visited the base as a part of an Aviation Day field trip in connection with a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) program which is geared toward teaching them the practical applications of STEM in the workforce.
