CARIBBEAN SEA - U.S Coast Guardsmen, Navy Sailors and Naval Criminal Investigative Service aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Cole (DDG 67) unload contraband from a Fast Raiding Interception and Speacial Forces Craft rigid-hull inflatable boat attached to the Royal Netherlands Navy Holland-class offshore patrol vessel HNLMS Friesland (P842) during a contraband transfer in the Caribbean Sea June 17, 2025. U.S. Navy assets are deployed under U.S. Northern Command's maritime homeland defense authorities with a U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachment embarked to enable maritime interdiction missions to prevent the flow of illegal drugs and other illegal activity.
