U.S. Soldiers assigned to the 759th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, under Joint Task Force–Southern Border, prepare their equipment to execute a detection and monitoring patrol using Polaris MRZR vehicles in Yuma, Ariz., June 16, 2025. U.S. Soldiers conduct patrols through harsh desert terrain using MRZR vehicles to navigate sandy and rugged roads, enabling Soldiers to detect suspicious activity and potential threats more effectively. Under the direction of the U.S. Northern Command, Joint Task Force–Southern Border aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations, which will allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations.
