Melodie Fisher, a contract specialist with the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s Contracting Office, poses with other U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) volunteers during her deployment to assist in the USACE wildfire recovery efforts in Los Angeles County.
USACE has been tasked with removing fire debris in both Altadena and Pacific Palisades with teams from across the enterprise traveling to California to support the mission. Several ERDC employees have volunteered their time and expertise hoping to make tangible impact in the communities affected by disaster. (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photo)
