Participants of a bank revetment project secure a red cedar to the shoreline of a creek to prevent erosion June 11, 2025, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas. Airmen and civilians from the 22nd Civil Engineer Squadron, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands worked on the project to stabilize the bank of the creek where erosion was threatening infrastructure on the southern tip of McConnell.
