Soldiers from the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) support an Army Full Honors Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, Saturday, June 14, 2025. The wreath was laid by Secretary of the Army Hon. Dan Driscoll in honor of the Army’s 250th birthday. Since its establishment in 1775, U.S. Army Soldiers, families, and Army Civilians have supported our nation, bearing true faith and allegiance to the country. One year older than the nation it defends, the U.S. Army has dedicated itself to fighting and winning the nation’s wars for 250 years. This we’ll defend.
