The New Hampshire National Guard hosted Gov. Kelly Ayotte and the Edward Cross Chapter of the Association of the U.S. Army in a celebratory cake cutting for the U.S. Army's 250th birthday June 13, 2025, at the state military reservation in Concord, New Hampshire. Maj. Gen. David Mikolaities, the adjutant general, and Staff Sgt. Brianna Brack represented the oldest and youngest Soldiers in attendance, respectively, at the ceremony. “I thank every Soldier present for what you do and what you’ve done for our country, because you really are the reason we are a free country, the reason we’re the best country in the world,” Ayotte said. “I know this country will be strong, because the United States Army will exist for the next 250 years. Today is a great anniversary, but I know that there will be many more to come.” (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Charles Johnston)
