U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 51st Civil Engineer Squadron operate and oversee the Water and Fuel Expedient Repair System at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, June 11, 2025. The WaFERS system demonstration is the first training on Osan consisting of Airmen from both the 51st CES and the 51st Logistics Readiness Squadron. The hydraulic driven pump transfers fuel from a well to the WaFERS pump trailer, flowing fuel through lines to be filtered into the refuelling truck.
