U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Louis Thiele, 51st Civil Engineer Squadron section chief of liquid fuels maintenance, monitors a fuel line at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, June 11, 2025. The Water and Fuel Expedient Repair System demonstration is the first training on Osan consisting of Airmen from both the 51st CES and the 51st Logistics Readiness Squadron. The hydraulic driven pump transfers fuel from a well to the WaFERS pump trailer, flowing fuel through lines to get filtered into the refuelling truck.
