U.S. Army Sgt. Alayna Lee, a motor transport operator with 319th Transportation Company, secures a fuel hose during the annual Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, June 6, 2025. Marines with 6th Engineer Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marine Corps Forces Reserve, based out of Portland, Oregon, used this opportunity to refine their skills in receiving, managing, and dispensing fuel in real-world training scenarios. QLLEX is a nation-wide exercise, led by the U.S. Army Reserve, that aims to assess and improve fuel and water support capabilities within the Department of Defense. Marines with MARFORRES, based out of Portland, Oregon, and Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, MCAS Cherry Point, used this opportunity to refine their skills in receiving, managing, and dispensing fuel in real-world training scenarios.
