U.S. Marines with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 465, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, receive the chaplain’s invocation during a change of command ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California, June 6, 2025. The change of command ceremony signifies the transition to new leadership and a continuation of the unit’s constant preparedness to fight and win. Under the leadership of the outgoing commanding officer, Lt. Col. Andrew M. Baxter, HMH-465 achieved over 5,100 flight hours while transporting 5,019 passengers and 1 million pounds of cargo.
