U.S. Marines assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), U.S. sailors assigned to the USS Kearsarge (LHD 3), volunteer at the Theotokos Foundation in Limassol, Cypress, April 4, 2013. The 26th MEU is deployed to the 6th Fleet area of operation. The MEU operates continuously across the globe, providing the president and unified combatant commanders with a forward-deployed, sea-based, quick-reaction force.
