U.S. Soldiers assigned to 759th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, assigned to Joint Task Force–Southern Border, listen to a brief before driving the Polaris Razor (MRZR) vehicles on a U.S. Border Patrol course in Yuma, Ariz., June 5, 2025. MRZR training equips Soldiers with the skills and confidence needed to navigate austere desert environments effectively, ensuring they can support the southern border mission objectives. Under the direction of the U.S. Northern Command, Joint Task Force–Southern Border aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and all-domain operations, which will allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations.
