The current Naval Hospital Guantanamo Bay, built in 1954 and dedicated in 1956, has served generations of service members and their families stationed at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay. On June 3, NAVFAC Southeast awarded a $227.6 million contract to construct a new state-of-the-art Ambulatory Care Center and Dental Clinic, which will replace the aging facility and ensure continued access to modern, high-quality medical care at this remote installation.
