From left, U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Eric Austin, Deputy Commandant of Combat Development and Integration (CD&I), LTG Hiroe Jiro, Commanding General of Training-Evaluation, Education, Research and Development Command (TERCOM), Japan Ground Self-Defense Force, and U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Benjamin Watson, Commanding General of Training and Education Command (TECOM), hold signed copies of the Terms of Reference (TOR), defining the framework for future exchanges between TERCOM, CD&I, and TECOM agreeing to further deepen their relationship moving forward.
“Our talks this week are a tremendous opportunity and responsibility to discuss how we best complement each other and to put these ideas into action,” said Austin.
"The discussions this week are an important opportunity for us to continue to strengthen our partnership for the future," said Hiroe. "It is paramount for peace and security in East Asia."
