Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) received the Adapt CL-1000 laser ablation tool, the first public shipyard to obtain it, thanks to assistance from Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Maritime Industrial Base (MIB). This tool will aid in future projects to innovate the way work is performed in the shops and shipboard.
