A U.S. Army Soldier assigned to 2nd Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Mobile Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, and an Australian Defense Force Soldier undergo Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES), installation and validation with a M249 light machine gun in support of Salaknib 25 at Fort Magsaysay, Philippines, May 27, 2025. MILES implements the use of laser transmitters and receivers that attach to vehicles, weapons, and Soldiers, which promote training accuracy and equipment reliability.
