Members of the U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team from Hill Air Force Base, Utah, showcase the inner workings of the F-35A to members of the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Fire Department shortly after the aircraft landed at Wright-Patterson, May 24, 2025. Maj. Melanie “Mach” Kluesner, commander of the demonstration team, flew the F-35A to Wright-Patterson for the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Spring Session in Dayton, Ohio. This session commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accords—an historic agreement negotiated at Wright-Patterson AFB that ended the Bosnian war.
