Fort Campbell DENTAC recently sharpened their warrior skills during a recent validation exercise (VALEX), reinforcing their readiness in both clinical and combat environments. As part of the training, Soldiers executed a Situational Training Exercise (STX) designed to simulate a combat scenario. Tasks included weapons handling, SINCGARS radio assembly, tactical movement with bounding and reacting to contact, Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), and evacuating a notional casualty using a litter. This capstone event marked the culmination of the DENTAC VALEX, underscoring the critical role Army medical personnel play—not only in patient care, but in ensuring combat effectiveness across the force.
