U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Edward Daise, a motor transport maintenance chief receives an award from Capt. Jacob Crippes, a company commander, both with Combat Logistics Battalion 22, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group in Setermoen, Norway, May 25, 2025. Daise was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal due his exemplary work ethic while serving as assistant command security manager and Headquarters and Service Company gunnery sergeant, 2nd Maintenance Battalion. His proper manning of key billets while accomplishing several critical tasks showed his dedication to performing his duties and kept within the highest traditions of Marine and Naval service.
