The family came to Guam to visit the B-29 "Colleen" crash site located in the jungles below the overlook. This crash site would be where Capt. Carl Bauer, Liz's uncle, perished in a tragedy involving engine troubles and bad weather. 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the accident, Liz decided it was her turn to make the journey, following in the footsteps of other family members who have visited in past years.
