Members of the District of Columbia Army National Guard’s Medical Detachment are coined by Maj. Gen. John C. Andonie, Commanding General (Interim) for the D.C. National Guard, after reaching the National Guard Bureau’s (NGB) dental readiness standard of 95% for all service members, and subsequently ranking number 2 out of the 54. LTC Wesley Delaine Thomas and two dental technicians, all M-Day Soldiers, are responsible for reaching the milestone and ensuring overall combat readiness.
