U.S. Soldiers assigned to the Commander-in-Chief's (CinC) Guard, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) demonstrate eighteenth century battlefield tactics during the Lexington 250 ceremony on the Lexington Battle Green, Lexington, Mass., April 19, 2025. Soldiers from The Old Guard took part in a solemn Lexington Battle Green rededication ceremony commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington, the opening conflict of the American Revolutionary War. Their presence not only honored the patriots who stood their ground on April 19, 1775, but also symbolized the enduring legacy of service and sacrifice that began on that historic day.
