The Tennessee Military Department, in conjunction with Baptist Union City Hospital and other partnering agencies conducted one part of a 7-day disaster response exercise, named Vigilant Guard, in Millington,Tennessee May 15. This portion of the exercise involved a hospital evacuation of patients with conditions ranging from mental to loss of limbs.These exercises, where we operate jointly and with various emergency responders, are crucial to our organization’s readiness in the event of a real world scenario.
