A memorial is read after physical training honoring Lance Cpl. Jacob Hug and Cpl. Sara Medina at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, May 12, 2025. Ten years ago, Hug and Medina—a combat photographer and videographer—lost their lives in a helicopter crash while providing humanitarian aid in Nepal, along with four fellow Marines and two Nepalese soldiers.
